Tennis Balls
We did an exercise in class where we spent about 20 minutes observing a tennis ball in different ways. We then used 2 tennis balls to make a sculpture. I chose to make a Tennis Owl.
Shading
This was an exercise in shading. We started by trying to match the shade of a rectangle on a piece of paper. After that, we shaded a sphere. Finally, we drew and shaded a tennis ball.
Yellow Submarine
We spent a few classes working on a 3D model of a submarine in a fishbowl. This was our first time using Maxon's Cinema4D. We learned how to make and edit shapes both from a menu and our own creations.
Screen Saver
We had an extra class with nothing to do, so we made animated screen savers. I used a clone tool and noise based textures to create it.
Pumpkin
We had an extra class with nothing to do, so we made Jack o lanterns
